AMHERST
Ziomek Field is situated on the campus of the Amherst-Pelham Regional High School. That school is located at 21 Matoon St. in Amherst. The Amherst Middle School is located directly to the north of the high school at 170 Chestnut St.
The Amherst Middle School Field is positioned next to the middle school building. From the north, the Amherst Middle School field can be reached by driving south on Rte. 63 to the traffic light at the Congregational church in North Amherst. Turn left onto Pine St. at that light, proceed about one mile, then, turn right onto East Pleasant St. Drive about three miles, then, turn left onto Chestnut St.. to reach the Middle School. If the destination is the high school, proceed further to the intersection of East Pleasant St. and Triangle St. Turn left at the light at that intersection, then, after driving ½ mile, turn left onto Matoon St.. High School field #2 is situated behind and to the left of the school building.
From towns located to the east and west of Amherst, drive on Rte. 9 to the traffic light in the center of town. Turn north at that light (turn left, if coming fromNorthampton) onto Pleasant St. At the third traffic light after turning northward, turn right onto Triangle St. and proceed straight to Matoon St.
BRATTLEBORO
Brattleboro teams will play on Tenney Field at Brattleboro Union High School and at Dummerston School. Brattleboro Union High School is located at 131 Fairground Road in Brattleboro, Vermont. Drive north on I-91 to Exit 1 in Vermont. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Rte 5, which is Canal St. After a short distance, turn right onto Fairground Road and proceed to the high school ball field. The ball field is visible from Fairground Road.
The Dummerston School is located on School House Road in Dummerston, Vt. Drive north on I-91 to Exit 3. There, bear right on the ramp to Brattleboro/Keene. Drive straight for a short distance on Chesterfield Road to a rotary. There, proceed northward on Putney Road, which is US Rte 5. Finally, turn left onto School House Road and, then, turn right into the school parking lot. The ball field is sited to the north of the school.
DEERFIELD ACADEMY
The double elimination tournament games of the Koufax and Mantle Divisions will be played on the southern turf Field at Deerfield Academy. Drive northward on I-91 to Exit 24 and, then, proceed northward on Rte. 5 & 10 for about five miles. Turn left into Old Deerfield at Taylor Road, which intersects Rte. 5 &10 just after Richardson’s Candy Kitchen. At the end of Taylor Road, turn right onto Main St. and proceed briefly toward the center of Old Deerfield. Turn right at the first opportunity and park behind the backstop of the turf field.
Please, do not park in the grass area beyond the outfield fence of the field or block any walk or path.
If necessary, park on the east (field) side of Main St. of Old Deerfield or in the parking lot of the school maintenance building located to the north of the field.
Importantly, metal cleats may not be worn on the turf field at Deerfield Academy.
FRONTIER
The Frontier teams will play at Herlihy Park in Whately and Valiton Field at Frontier Regional High School in South Deerfield.
Herlihy Park can be reached from the south by driving northward on I-91 to Exit 24. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Rte, 5 & 10 North and, then, at the first traffic light, turn right onto Rte. 116 and proceed toward Sunderland. At the first traffic light on Rte. 116, turn right onto River Road. Proceed about one mile to Herlihy Park, which is located between River Road and the Connecticut River. Herlihy Park can be reached from Amherst by driving northward on Rte. 116 into Sunderland and, then, crossing the Sunderland Bridge. Turn left onto River Road very shortly after crossing the Connecticut River and proceed about one mile to the field.
Frontier Regional High School is located on Main St. in South Deerfield. Drive north on I-91 to Exit 24, then, proceed north on Ret. 5 & 10 to the lights at the north end of Yankee Candle. There, turn left and drive to the stop sign in the center of South Deerfield. Turn left at the stop sign and drive about 3/4 of mile north to the high school. Park in the lot sited to the north of the school.
NORTHAMPTON
The Northampton Koufax Division team will play at Florence Field. The Florence Fields are located at 157 Spring St. in Northampton. The baseball field is sited at the west end of the Florence Fields.
Drive on I-91 South to the Hatfield exit, then, proceed south on Rtes. 5 & 10. Bear right onto Hatfield St. and proceed behind the Walmart and Big Y Plazas. Turn right onto Bridge St. and drive to the end of Bridge St., near the entrance to Look Park. At the rotary, turn left onto Rte. 9 South and proceed toward the center of Florence, a section of Northampton Just before reaching the center of Florence, turn right onto Park St, and, then, a short distance later, turn right onto Meadow St. At the end of Meadow St., turn right onto Spring St., and, finally, turn right into the baseball field parking lot.
RAPTORS (PIONEER)
The Raptors Koufax and Mantle teams will play at Pioneer Valley High School in Northfield. Pioneer Valley High School is located on Sumner Turner Drive. The entrance to the Sumner Turner Drive is located directly across Rtes. 5 & 10 from the entrance to Northfield Mt. Hermon School. which can be accessed easily from I-91. Beacon Field is located directly to the west of Poet Seat Tower.
TURNERS FALLS
The Turners Falls Koufax Division team will play at Turners Falls High School. Turners Falls High School is located on Turnpike Road in Turners Falls. Proceed on Millers Falls Road, then, turn right onto Cross St. At the end of Cross St., turn right onto Turnpike Road and, then, left into the parking lot next to the football/soccer field.
WEST COUNTY
The West County Koufax and Mantle team will play at the Mohawk Trail Regional High School and the Twin Valley Middle and High Schools. The Mohawk Trail High School is located at 26 Ashfield Road in Shelburne Falls. Ashfield Road is Rte. 112. Drive north on I-91 to Rte. 2. Proceed west on Rte. 2 past Shelburne and Buckland to Rte. 112 south. The school is about ½ mile from Rte. 2. The ball fields are located in a vale behind the school building.
Most spectators and/ or players must park in the parking lot next to the school. Umpires, elderly or disabled spectators, and coaches who must bring equipment to the field may park next to the ball field.
The Twin Valley Middle and High Schools are located in Whitingham, Vt. Drive westward on Rte. 2 into Shelburne Falls. Just after the Hager's Farmstand, The Coffee Roasters, and the Duck Pond, turn right onto Colrain Road. Colrain Road will become Greenfield Road, then, Rte 122 North, and, finally, Vermont Rte. 112 North. In Jacksonville, Vermont, turn left onto Rte 100 and proceed to the Twin Valley Middle and High Schools.
The baseball field is located to the south of the school. After passing the school, turn left onto Ginny Morse Road and proceed to the parking lot for the ball field
