The standings of the Pioneer Valley Youth Baseball League are based upon the Points earned by the teams.  A team earns two points for a win and one point for a tie.  A tie may occur if a game is official, but connot be completed.  If two or more teams have the same number of points, their respective places in the standings are determined by 1) the outcomes of games between the concerned teams, then, 2) the fewest average runs allowed per game, then, if necessary, 3) a coin toss.
